A comparative rhetorical analysis of two alleged cities of the future through their respective websites. What is the intrigue behind this title? How does each websites represent their city's identity? Does this constructed image match with that of a "modern" or "future" city?
Indecisiveness is not a favorable trait when the pool of possibilities is this wide. I couldn't for the life of me decide on a city to go against TELOSA. It was only a fortnight before the draft was due that everything began to fall into place; lets approach TELOSA from the element it is most known for... the title of "a city of the future" (Quite a strong claim Mr. Lore) and compare it to an already exciting city of the future - Rotterdam of the Netherlands.
While curiosity killed the cat, satisfaction brought it back, this final product is not exactly "satisfactory", but it is one I'm proud of. Improving my descriptions of the two sites, restructuring the first draft to allow for a more cohesive flow, and working on the visual aspects (images and design) resulted in this final draft.
